THE WINTERIZING POOL VALVE SYSTEM HOW IT WORKS
The winterizing kit includes:

This simple kit is simple and fast to install.
Simply replace your current "eyeball" fittings with our valve when winterizing, drain the water lines, fill with antifreeze (highly-recommended) and prevent any water from re-entering the lines – all without draining your pool!
THE WINTERIZING POOL VALVE SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS
Installation Instructions:
- Examine units (remove cap and shake to make sure parts are moving OR press inner parts between fingers until parts are moving.
- Use Teflon tape for threads, wrap as needed to seal threads.
- Remove all eyeball units from pool lines.
- Install valves without caps
- Use wrench (included) no other tool required (hand tighten only) - Use 3/8" drive to loosen in case of over tightening.
- Blow out lines with compressed air (20-30psi) until you see a stream of bubbles; continue blowing for 5 minutes to ensure the lines are clear.
- Lubricate caps with any water based lubricant (Silicon Lubricant recommended.)
- Snap cap on the unit, press on center to fit in place, rotate cap over the unit 3-4 times to optimize seal & press center again; then place the Gigit Lock Ring over the Black Cap.
Next Season Instructions:
- Wash unit in warm soap and water to remove old lubricant.
- Re-lubricate unit.
- Follow insturctions 1 through 8 from above.
Special Notes:
In case of pre-existing leaks, cracks or holes in the pipelines, the use of anti-freeze is highly recommended.

THE WINTERIZING POOL AIR STATION KIT INSTRUCTIONS
- Check to insure you have all required parts before beginning insulation.
- Permanently install Air Station 1 after the Filter & Chlorine Tank.
- Use Air Station 1 to blow out return lines.
- Permanently install Air Station 2 before pump. Use this station to blow out Main Drain & Skimmer Lines.
- Insure the one way sleeve opening is pointed in the direction that you want to blow the lines out.
- To Install the Quick Connect Use Teflon Tape for Threads.
- Set your Compressor at 20psi. (NOT TO EXCEED MAX 30psi).
- Then follow Instructions 1 thru 8 when you use Gigit Winterizing valves.
- After using Air Station, remove one way sleeve by rocking back and forth & pull upwards.
- Fill lines with Anti-freeze.
- Then install running cap using Teflon tape

When installing the air station sleeve, insure that the one way sleeve opening is pointed in the direction that you want to blow the lines out.
